Taxi & Van Transfers ("we", "the company") provides passenger transport services (taxi/van) in Athens and Attica. The data controller for the data described here is the owner/operator of the service. 2. What Data We Collect
When you make a booking through our website form, we collect:
Contact details
Full name, phone number, email.
Trip details
Pickup/drop-off location, date & time, number of passengers, luggage, child seats.
Travel details
Flight or ship number, when provided, so we can track delays.
Payment details
The deposit amount and transaction status. We never store your card number — payment is made directly on the secure page of Viva Payments (Viva Wallet), a certified payment provider.
3. Why We Collect This Data
We use the above information exclusively to: (a) organize and carry out your transfer, (b) contact you for confirmation or changes, (c) process your deposit through Viva, and (d) comply with our legal tax/accounting obligations.
4. Where the Data Is Stored
Booking data is stored on Google Firebase / Google Cloud infrastructure (European Union, europe-west1 region) with access restricted to our authorized personnel (administrators, drivers assigned to that specific trip). Payment data is processed by Viva Payments, which maintains its own security policies and PCI-DSS compliance.
5. Cookies & Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics (gtag.js) for anonymous traffic statistics. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising targeting.
6. Retention Period
Booking data is retained for as long as necessary to carry out the service and to comply with tax obligations (up to 5 years, in accordance with Greek law), unless you request earlier deletion and no legal retention obligation applies.
7. Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, as well as the right to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at book@taxiathenstransfers.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
8. Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Your details are only shared with the driver assigned to your specific transfer (name, phone, route) and with Viva Payments for payment processing.
9. Security
We use HTTPS encryption across the entire website, role-based access rules in our database, and we never store payment card details on our own servers.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
